Creative Cuts and More Holiday Blog Hop!

Day 2 Creative Cuts and More Recipe Hop!

Welcome, today is the second day of the Creative Cuts & More Mega Recipe Blog Hop which features the Apron Holiday Treats Recipe Kit. I used almost everything in the kit except for a few different random ribbon, the pearls on the gingerbread man, and thread. I hope you enjoy!

My recipe is :



Norwegian Cookies



1 cup sugar



1cup butter or margarine



1 egg



1/2 tsp vanilla



1/2 tsp almond extract



2 cups flour



1/2 cup finely-chopped walnuts



sugar



Preheat oven to 350F . In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add egg and extracts: beat until light and fluffy. Add flour and nuts and beat until just moistened. Cover and chill until firm enough to handle. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake until cookies are set.

I made my Recipe book for my daughter for Christmas, shes 19 and just moved out a few months ago and is really getting into cooking for herself. I am putting together some of her easier favorites. I had allot of fun with this book. There is so much in the kit its amazing!!!

My recipes:
Cookie Salad ( my kids love this and its their favorite!!)

1 cup milk

1 (3 3/4 oz) Vanilla Instant Pudding

1 8 oz Cool Whip

2 Bananas

1 (4 oz ) can Mandarin Oranges

1/2 package of Oreo Cookies, about 14 of them. Or Fudge Striped ones work good too.
Mix Pudding with milk, as cool whip. Refrigerate over night or a few hours. Add Fruit, return and return to fridge for a few hours if you can. Just before serving add crushed cookies and fold in.
Fast Fruity Delight

3/4 cup boiling water

1pkg Jello Raspberry, (3oz)

1 cup cool whip

Add boiling water to jello, mix in large bowl, Stir two minutes until completely dissolved. Add berries : stir until jello thickens. Stir 1/2 cup of the jello mixture into cool whip, and whisk until well blended. Spoon into 4 dessert dishes. Cover with remaining jello mixture. Refrigerate 15 minutes or until set.

Caardvarks Day 3 Blog Hop

I used the small cake box set for this cake. The sucker and ribbon is all from Micheals. The Candy Box I used for a table place setting card.

Caardvarks Blog Hop Day 2

On all my projects I used Killer Red Tacky Tape. The best price ever is found with Terry at Creative Cuts and More!

Now my first project I used the Dress Box. A ribbon scarft and hat, and some pearls for buttons and you have a snowman. This box easily will hold a gift card or some candy or little lip glosses, all kinds of little presents.

My next project I used the popcorn boxes. So easy and fun!
