Treasured Family Recipe Blog Hop from Creative Cuts and More!

Welcome to the first day of the Creative Cuts & More Mega Recipe Blog Hop, which will feature the 8" x 8" Treasured Family Recipe Kit. We have 24 designers who will be creating wonderful pages to inspire you. Plus we all will be sharing some of our own delicious treasured family recipes. Make sure you check back at Die Cut Diva tomorrow for the Holiday Treats Apron Recipe Kit Blog Hop. We also will have 24 designers who will be showcasing their great creations and sharing holiday treat Recipes.

I made my Recipe book for my daughter for Christmas, shes 19 and just moved out a few months ago and is really getting into cooking for herself. I am putting together some of her easier favorites. I had allot of fun with this book. There is so much in the kit its amazing!!!

As a part of the celebration CC&M will be having a great sale. For the next six days we will offer 20% off the entire store. But act quickly, its only for six days-this sale will end on Nov. 14th. Make sure to enter this code recipe blog hop2009 during checkout.
As a continuing part of the celebration CC&M will of course give away great gifts. Each day we will give away one kit. Here is the twist - go through the blog hop, leave wonderful comments for all the great designers. After you have finished the blog hop, return HERE to DieCutDiva.com and instead of leaving a comment, you need to share a recipe to have a chance at winning the kit. Share the recipe on your blog and link it back and get another chance to win the kit. Help us also make this a great recipe swap!!!!

Now You have to move along the hop to the wonderfully talented Lori Renn.

Thanks for stopping by, and please return tomorrow for the Apron Kit Book, its sooooooo cute!!!

My recipes:
Cookie Salad ( my kids love this and its their favorite!!)

1 cup milk

1 (3 3/4 oz) Vanilla Instant Pudding

1 8 oz Cool Whip

2 Bananas

1 (4 oz ) can Mandarin Oranges

1/2 package of Oreo Cookies, about 14 of them. Or Fudge Striped ones work good too.
Mix Pudding with milk, as cool whip. Refrigerate over night or a few hours. Add Fruit, return and return to fridge for a few hours if you can. Just before serving add crushed cookies and fold in.
Fast Fruity Delight

3/4 cup boiling water

1pkg Jello Raspberry, (3oz)

1 cup cool whip

Add boiling water to jello, mix in large bowl, Stir two minutes until completely dissolved. Add berries : stir until jello thickens. Stir 1/2 cup of the jello mixture into cool whip, and whisk until well blended. Spoon into 4 dessert dishes. Cover with remaining jello mixture. Refrigerate 15 minutes or until set.

Love the recipe book...great idea for anyone moving out! I worked with a lady who's 20 year old daughter called her shortly after moving out to find out how to make a grilled cheese!
